Saturday 9: Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?

Leave A Note
Better late than never... I was busy so I didn't get to post this on time...

1. Have you ever been in a situation with a lover where you did not know what tomorrow would bring?
- Yes, I have. My ex-boyfriend and I both didn't know if everything would really work out between us knowing that we both live far from each other. He lives in the Middle East and in our 4-year online relationship, we never even met, not once, in person. So, we both decided to just part ways and leave up the rest to God. (We didn't end up being together again after the break-up...But we remain friends up to now..)

2. What worries you most today?
- That my husband would forget the donuts I asked him to buy for me on his way home from work..Photobucket hehehe

3. Could I tell if you were lying to me?
- Yes! My husband would often tell me that I am a horrible liar..Photobucket He knows when I am lying and he can see it right away..

4. What do you miss most about the 80s?
- Nothing..I wasn't too old enough to remember anything, yet..

5. What's going on that you can't understand?
- A friend of mine, or let's just say, a "former" friend of mine just can't get over with the past and she's too bothered by it that until now, she can't move on.. I don't understand what her issue is...

6. How would I know if you liked me?
- I'd still keep getting your attention and I will spend time to talk to you even if we talk about nonsense things.. hehe

7. If you ever won an award, what would you want it to be for?
- The Best Wife and Mother Award Photobucket

8. What would we be surprised to know that you've done?
- Would that surprise you if you found out I've been pregnant now for 3 years? hehe back to back to back..Photobucket

9. What’s the most exotic mixed drink you remember trying? Did you enjoy it?
- I haven't tried one before..

GT: I Love My iPhone4

1 Sweet Note
Who doesn't love gadgets? I think most of us do.

I love gadgets but not to the extent of having the "exhort" to keep buying them even if I don't need them at all. That's why I only own 1 (one) high-tech gadget, and that's the iPhone4.

Cellular phones, I think, nowadays are a necessity. People no longer just buy them just to have them. They do because it gives all the convenience we need when it comes to communication. It's portable and easy to use.

There are so many features I love about iPhone4. First of, I can do Face Time with my sister now. It's basically like talking on webcam and it's cool that you both can see each other while having a conversation. The other things include great apps such as; Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, E-mail, Games, and a whole lot more. You can put me in seclusion with just the iPhone4 (with internet access, of course..hehe) and I will be fine. I can last days with no TV and other gadgets, but not without my phone. It's now one of those things I can never imagine myself not having. It's just a great gadget!

Now, I'm not saying I won't take an iPad2 if somebody would give me one for free --

For a Better Photo Quality

Leave A Note
Yesterday, we took our two little boys to JCP Portraits to have their studio photos taken as per request of my Mother-in-law. She went with and got the package deal, while my husband and I decided to purchase the CD with all of the kids' photos so we could have them to keep. If anything, we can always go ahead and save them in the computer, edit them, and print out if we want more copies. But first of all, we need to make sure our printer has enough ink so it doesn't mess up any photos we want to print out.

Finding cheap ink is no longer an issue if you are using inkjet cartridges because you can always have them refilled, even online at anytime, to save money. Brand new ones can be costly so it's always good to know that you can buy printer ink for any brand of printer you're using at a cheaper cost but of the same quality. That's one thing I want to make sure of because I'd love for my kids' photos to come out looking great.

Almost Time for the Indie Spirit Awards*

Leave A Note
It is award season once again, and I cannot wait to see the outcome of the Indie Spirit Awards. This year the award show will take place on February 26. There is a lot of talk about who will win these awards. Winter's Bone has the most nominations, and I am excited to see how many awards this movie will take home. I love watching the Indie Spirit Awards because it seems people feel more comfortable, like they can really be themselves, unlike other award shows. One of the big items up for debate this year is what technically qualifies a movie as an indie project. I think in future years there are going to be further qualifications to determine which films will be allowed into this category. For now I am just going to sit back and en! joy watching the Indie Spirit Awards on my Direct TV. I cannot wait to see what fabulous outfits everyone is wearing and what outrageous things will be said and done. There is never a lack of excitement at the Indie Spirit Awards.

Back to School in A Few Years...

Leave A Note
Being part of a medical team has always been my dream since childhood. That's the main reason I studied Nursing back in the Philippines. Ever since I was a little kid, I already knew in my heart that when I grow up, I'll be working at a hospital in that beautiful nursing uniform and that is something I will be working on fulfilling here soon.

Right now, I am a stay-at-home Mom but in a few years, I will be going back to school to pursue my Nursing profession and be able to work, hopefully, right after I graduate. But because my hands will be full by then having to take care of three kids, I know that shopping online at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ will be a great help. It will lessen the burden of having to walk around inside a store with kids and not be able to choose what I really want because I had to cut my time short just to tend to their needs. I can buy the rest of the stuff I'll need from a store, but not my uniforms. I have to make sure they're what I want and that I'll get the ones that would fit me just right. Aside from it helping me to save time and money for gas to drive around, I don't have to leave the house. I can have all the time to shop and I can still take care of the kids without having to worry about cutting my time short, thus, getting the uniform I need just the way I want it.

Saturday 9: Sex as a Weapon

Leave A Note
This week's topic is kind of interesting. I just couldn't miss this one so even if my post is a little late, I still want to do this weekly task for the fun of it..

1. Have you or a significant other ever used sex as a weapon?
- NO, we don't and we never will. Thank you very much!!

2. Tell us about the worst date you ever went on.
- To be honest, I've never went out on a date with my husband and it didn't turn out great. Well, one time, we were out to have fun and it ended raining so hard on us that we had to go home earlier than planned. If that would count as one...

3. If you were a god/goddess who would you be?
- Goddess of Love...

4. What crime from history fascinates you the most?
- I don't think I'd ever be fascinated in crimes at all...

5. Give us one random, but candid fact about you.
- Spirited :)

6. Who or what makes you laugh until you're weak?
- Funny movies or stories...

7. What is the most exciting adventure you’ve ever been part of?
- My life right now as a military wife :) Every passing day is an adventure for me and my family..

8. Among the people you know, who would you choose to be able to read all your thoughts?
- My Grandparents..

9. How old were you when you realized that other people's families live totally differently from yours?

Relying on the Carpet Cleaning Company

Leave A Note
Clean carpet has never really bothered me until I became a parent. Vacuuming once or twice a week was already good enough for me. But when we had kids, through reading, I learned that vacuuming alone isn't really doing a lot of work as far as removing every little bit of dirt and dust that got stuck into it. And because we also have dogs in the house, their fur is all over the place and that's when I started worrying more about my kids' health. I couldn't even put them down on the carpet to play around because in a matter of minutes, they'd be covered in fur and dust and I fear that there might be something else deep in the carpet that can harm them.

Good to know that Carpet Cleaning Jollyville is there to help out those who are in need, like me, of professional technicians to do the carpet cleaning. Being a Mother now, I can never put my family's health at risk and so I put my trust in the hands of the http://www.thesteamteam.com/austin-carpet-cleaning to do the job for me. Not only will they make sure the carpets have been thoroughly cleaned, they'll also guarantee to provide a lasting service and beauty. It's all worth it!

GT: Because I Stand Proud Among the Crowd

4 Sweet Notes
The rule did say, "..that one true love, the one that stands out in the racks." Well, here's a piece of clothing I own that does stand out in the rack.

This photo shows the very first Navy shirt I got from my husband since we've been together. It's a Naval SpecWar (Special Warfare) shirt and he got that for me as a gift. Why is it special? It's so special to me because being a Navy wife, every time I have it on, it gives me that special pride in my heart knowing that I play a huge part in my husband's life by supporting him and backing him up knowing the type of job that he does. It gives me the feeling of joy that I am able to help him serve his beloved country by being the wife he needs me to be.

Trust me, our life is no ordinary, but everything that came along with marrying a man in the military is all worth it!

I am not so into fashion. There are so much more important things for me to worry about than getting a designer piece of clothing. I wear whatever I feel comfortable in. But if there's something I own that I'd love to flaunt, it would be anything that would tell the whole world, I am and forever will be, a Navy Wife!

Why Burial Insurance is Important

Leave A Note
Is there anything more important than your Loved Ones' Security? Have you asked yourself, what would happen to them if you died? It's probably a tough question to take in but in reality, we know you have to face the truth that it will hurt to leave them behind, but it will be a lot more of a burden for them to bear when they suddenly get confronted with expenses they didn't even think were there and they are left with no choice but to find and come up with that amount of money to cover all of the expenses made. It's not too late to get things right, first and foremost, by getting yourself burial insurance plans.

Every day, the cost of burial insurance is becoming more and more expensive that's why, as much as possible, we'd like to get everything covered up. Funeral insurance for seniors offers the affordability and security that you need for yourself and your loved ones. They will help you go through all the process needed and they provide options that best suit you. And while in the process, it's also good to know that there are resources for seniors you can avail to make sure you are well taken care of while still enjoying the comfort of your very own home.

We cannot stop death from happening nor will we know when it is going to happen. But knowing you are secured and so are your loved ones, can help lessen the burden and all you have to do is enjoy the rest of your time with your family, worry-free!

Time to get the baby's stuff ready...

Leave A Note
Once again, preparation for baby #3's arrival has finally started. It just feels like yesterday I was doing the same thing for the birth of our second child. I'm almost 32 weeks and I think it's the perfect time to make a list of baby's stuff that we will be taking with us to the hospital when I go into labor. I decided I want to do it earlier this time because of my condition. I don't want to wait till I am in so much pain already and am not able to do it right. One thing I don't want to happen is, forget stuff and remember them at the very last minute. I want everything done perfectly so that when we need a certain item, we know we have it and I know where I put it to avoid wasting time just trying to locate them.

Another reason is, during my second pregnancy, I started dilating early. At 36 weeks, I was already 1cm dilated. With my condition right now, there might be a possibility that it can happen again and this time, it's still way too early. As much as possible, I really am praying that she will stay inside till her full term or if not, at least beyond 38 weeks. But nevertheless, as long as she's healthy and doing fine, that's all that matters to us.

Tomorrow, I plan on setting aside time just to wash her clothes and have them ready to go. Diaper bag still needs to get cleaned but I can knock it down in no time. I think we've pretty much bought her clothes she'll need as a newborn so with that being said, we're good to go. All we need to buy now are newborn-size diapers.

List is done. Now time to get things started for the little one's arrival. :)

Get Your Car Insured

Leave A Note
With the economy's condition right now where a lot of people have already lost their jobs and the little income that may be coming in just doesn't seem to accommodate every single expense needed around the house. Some people opt to seek for cheaper, yet reliable alternatives to make it through daily living.

Living here in the US for almost two years now has opened my eyes to a lot of things I never thought were that important when I was still back home. One thing here that I've learned that's very important is, securing insurance for your properties in case something bad happens. It gives you the feeling of assurance that whatever you've worked hard for won't be taken away without getting your money's worth back, which, eventually will be a big help and not make you feel like you have to start over again.

One of the most insured properties today are, cars, them being a necessity. It is really a must that you get your car insured to protect yourself if you get into an accident and finding just the right insurance company can be such a tough job. You have a lot to consider and one thing is, finding car a cheap auto insurance. Because in this tough economy, every penny counts but still you know you can't put yourself or your love ones' lives at risk just to save a buck. That is why when it comes to car insurance, you need to do your research and being able to compare and contrast between various insurance companies on what they offer, take the stress out of hopping back and forth on web pages.

Saturday 9: Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out

1 Sweet Note
Missed out on a lot of Saturday 9 posts. Hopefully, I could catch up and not miss any in the coming weeks. Anyhow, here's my entry....

1. What is the most “down and out” that you've ever been?
- When my Grandfather passed away on March 2009. It was the most heartbreaking experience I've had in my entire being and not to mention that at the same time, I was almost 4 months pregnant with our first born. That was the time I lost the best man in my life.Photobucket

2. Do you believe there is only one "right" religion?
- No, I don't. I believe that it's not just the religion that can save you alone. The most important thing still is, your personal relationship with God. He looks into your heart, not into your religion.

3. If you could get back in touch with one person you've lost touch with, who would it be and why?
- My Grandfather. I miss him so much and there's a lot to tell and show him especially now that I have kids of my own. He would have been so proud of them.

4. Has anyone ever held the key to your heart, but did not know it?
- I think so. But that was way back in high school. Wait. I think he did know it. The thing is, he never cared. [hahaha]

5. If your lover cheated on you and profusely apologized, might you accept them back into your life?
- Yes. I know it's such a cliché, but I believe that everybody deserves another chance. I, myself isn't perfect, either.

6. Have you ever gone to work/school drunk or stoned? If yes, do tell.
- Never!

7. Who is your favorite relative?
- All of my cousins :)

8. What annoys you most?
- People who act as if "they know everything" but the truth is, they actually barely know a thing..

9. Tell us of one thing you used to do that you are not proud of.
- I used to look down on myself a lot. I gave people the permission to make me feel inferior. Lesson learned: I AM ME regardless of what people may think about me. I am unique and God made me as I am because there are things I possess that others don't and can probably never have. And that makes me feel special.Photobucket

Pregnancy Update [Baby #3]: At 31 Weeks

1 Sweet Note
Nine more weeks to go (that is, if she'll stay till full term) and we'll finally meet our precious baby girl!Photobucket I can't believe I'm almost close to my due date. Oh, how time flies by so quickly! This wait has been overwhelming and I am so ready to get this done and over with.

The past weeks were like "hell weeks" for me. I was incessantly ill and doing household chores was such an agony. There were even times I didn't want to get out of bed and just lay there for the rest of the day. But I have the two little boys to take care of so I really had no choice but to drag my weak body out of bed and do work around the house. Those were the times I wished I had somebody around to help me out while my husband's at work. It's been tough because I could only do so much and the kids completely depend on me. No matter how much I wanted to take naps, that seemed impossible because they don't nap at the same time. When one is asleep, the other is up, thus leaving me with no time to myself. I can only take a nap when my husband is home because he watches the kids, and that's only during the weekends. During the weekdays, I just can't. The result? A lot of unexplainable pains. But like what I always say to myself, I can tolerate whatever pain there is as long as I know the baby is all right.

Right now, I still have pain and most of it is felt along my pelvic area, lower abdomen, and left lower back. I've been told by my OB that pretty much, the only cure to all of this is, delivery. The baby puts on a lot of pressure now that she's getting bigger (I already gained excessive weight) and it adds to whatever weight I already have to carry for having a big tummy. Just imagine an average-sized Asian woman carrying a gentle giant's child in her womb. [hahaha] Oh, the bittersweet fact of pregnancy! And because of all these pain and discomforts I'm having now, I'd say I'm done being pregnant! Time for my body to recuperate and have its prepregnancy figure back. I can't wait!Photobucket

Hopefully, the last remaining weeks won't be as bad as the past few ones. I'm really praying and hoping for that.

Done For Now...

Leave A Note
I think I've done enough on this blog that I can finally say, I'm done editing for now. I need to start focusing on actually updating this since I am way behind with my posts. I've let a lot of chances to write stories pass by and it really sucks because right now, I can't remember what I had in mind at the time I wanted to post something but wasn't able to. But regardless, I still will try to share stories even if they happened a while back just so to catch up with the time I've missed out on here.

On another note, I am happy with my blog's new look!!Photobucket I found this really nice layout and did some changes to it on my own. I kind of wanted to make the blog look simpler and at the same time, not too dull. It loads a lot faster now, too that I am not using too many images on my design. Its new look also gives me the motivation to write more and I love it! Now, that's positive! :)

As far as updating posts, I am thinking of writing a page that's entirely about the family. I'm still thinking about stuff to write and how I should come up with a decent one describing each member of my family without overwriting information about us. As you all know, we're a military family and with that comes specific rules that we must abide with, especially with the type of job my husband does. Anyway, it will be posted here soon so you keep on checking us out here for more updates.Photobucket

Have a great weekend!!

Blog Under Construction

2 Sweet Notes
This is it for now. I've been editing my blog now for almost 3 days and I am not done, yet. Hopefully, I'll get things done by tomorrow. It sometimes sucks when the only time I can really focus on doing this is, when everybody is asleep. I know I shouldn't be up anymore considering that it's 4:33 in the morning and I am pregnant. But I just didn't want to leave this hanging and forget where I stopped at because I might not be able to edit my blog properly if I end up forgetting something. This will be the last time I will stay up this late. I am almost done now so I hope there's nothing more to edit tomorrow.

Will be back on blogging when I get everything right. :)
