And Then There Were Three...

In behalf of my husband, John, we are happy to tell you all that we're expecting our very first miracle - our first baby is on its way. I am almost on my 15th week of pregnancy. Had my check up already and my Aunt Marlene (our family's OB-Gyne and Pediatrician) told me that everything is fine, thank God :)

Forgive me for I might not sound like I do make sense here, but I am trying. I am just so overjoyed that I can't contain my emotions. I am more than happy knowing I will be a mother soon - such a sweet, sweet word to say and hear - that we are going to be parents.

At first, I didn't know what to do or how to react to the wonderful news of me bearing our very first child. I'm sure all the first time mothers felt the same way I do now and how it must have made them just filled with so much emotions they could no longer express. Though it has been days already since we first found out I am pregnant, still I can't help but flash that same smile I had on that very moment I first saw those two small, thin lines indicating a positive pregnancy test result. I can't help but utter "Thank you, God" underneath my breath every time that moment crosses my mind.

Of course, I told my husband first about the news. He was so happy, though at first, all he said was "Oh my God!!" [hehehe]. He even cried and so did I. We're so happy about the news!! As for the baby's gender, may it be a boy or girl, as long as the baby's healthy. To us, that's all that matters most :)

We will be a family soon :) We thank you, God for this wonderful miracle!!
