But as we all know, pregnancy also comes with a lot of discomforts. There are even those you can't describe or some pains that you don't even know what their cure is. It is during this time when you get to the point of wishing you can fast forward time and just get the whole pregnancy done and over with no matter how much you're enjoying the feeling of being pregnant.
In my case, having been pregnant back to back to back, pregnancy discomforts are no longer new to me. In fact, there are even some that I've actually gotten so used to that they don't bother me at all anymore. I've developed migraine, severe lower back pain, difficulty of breathing, edginess at times, dizziness, leg cramps, and a whole lot more. But ever since my first pregnancy, taking pain medication has never been an option to me. My whole thing was and is, as long as the pain is tolerable, I am not going to take any medication to alleviate it. I don't care if the doctor said it's safe, medicine is still medicine and as much as possible, I don't want myself to get too used to it and end up being dependent; not to mention the effects it can possibly cause the baby's development, may it be too little or futile. For me, prevention is always better than cure. And, I have never been a big fan of taking pain relievers, anyway even before I got married so I know I'll be just fine.
But of course, on the day of my delivery, Epidural analgesia is a MUST!! [hehehe] That's when I can only take so much pain. But for now, I will just suck it up and enjoy the every bit of joy and all of these sweet, sweet pains this pregnancy brings. Before we know, it's already time to push. :)
