A Practical Way of Investing?

To be honest, I know too little about investments. I'm saying this because earlier today, while watching TV, I saw this commercial about investing for your child's future, especially for their education since it costs a fortune here to send your kids all the way up to college. It was then that I realized I haven't really thought about it. I'm aware of the fact that it really is so expensive here to send kids to college, but in the back of my head, I just wasn't paying much attention to it. It's not right, I know and I should start doing something about it as early as now, especially that we got three kids to worry about. But because I'm a stay-at-home-mom right now, there's nothing much I could do to contribute money for their future.

Then, I saw this silver bullion bars from golden eagle online and when I read about it, it kind of looked interesting to me. I don't know how this thing works, but if it's something I could use as an investment for the future, why not give it a try, right?

I still need to read more on that before jumping into a decision.
