One of our 2 cars will finally be paid off by December, thank God! That's a good news because that means we can get us a truck if we want to. I don't think my husband still plans on keeping that car after he gets done paying for it. Not that he doesn't want to. I know how much he loves that car. But right now, it's been having troubles, and he said, getting it fixed up will more than likely cost more than actually having to pay it off. But I don't know. That's totally up to him. Whatever he decides on doing, I'm going to back him up!
The thought of getting a truck started when we first moved out of our friends' house where we stayed for the first month when I got here back in 2009. It was stressful on him having to rent out a truck just to get some of our stuff out of his storage unit. Then, when we bought our first couch and crib for our baby, he had to call his buddy who owns a truck, for help. I know his friends will never mind at all lending us help, but I also know that my husband doesn't like bothering people that much, especially when he knows his buddies might have other important stuff of their own to take care of. That's just him. He'll do everything on his own, if he can.

My husband hasn't owned a truck before, so in case we end up getting one, it'll be his first. But he knows so much about cars, so I am not worried - not even a bit. But if you ask me, there's something about cars that is kind of one of my
pet peeves. If you haven't guessed it right, I'd tell you. I'm talking about car seats. That's the first thing I notice now inside a car since that "incident" happened back in the Philippines. I had to go to the hospital for our clinical rotation one early morning, so I hailed a taxi, got in, and the last thing I remember, my white uniform got stained in the back. And the worse part, it had a bad smell! I still don't know what it was, but it sickened me! I didn't see what was on the seat cover because it was still a little dark and I was in a hurry at the time. One of my group mates called my attention when I got to our location. I had to wash the stained part and I put a lot of cologne on it just to get rid of the foul odor. Since then, I became so wary that sometimes I was already called being an OC. So if we get a truck, I could care less about its style, model, or color. I care about the seats. It'd even be better if we get
chevy truck seat covers so we don't have to worry about getting the original covers messed up. At least with seat covers, you have the option to change it anytime to whatever color suits you. And if it does end up getting dirty, all you have to do is, remove them to get cleaned. If you're like me, then, clean seat covers will definitely not gross you out. Who would want dirty car seats anyway, right?
