EntreCard Inconvenience

That hasn't been funny at all! It took me what, like an hour trying to log on to EntreCard. I tried awhile ago, but it simply wouldn't let me through. My friend, Ate Anne usually gets the same problem, too and tonight, we encountered it again - probably at the same time. Boy, this can really be vexatious sometimes...*sigh* I gave it another shot after a good 20 minutes, and voila it worked!! I'm actually happy that I was able to view the droppers' blogs and got to drop them ECs, too. And for the first time ever in my history since I registered on EntreCard, I was able to drop a total of 21 Entrecards tonight. I know it's still a very small amount compared to those who can drop up to the daily limit of 300 ECs, but still I'm happy that I did drop 21 tonight. [Hahaha] I'll work on improving that one *wink wink*...

Entrecard dropping can be really fun. I never thought about it that much before. All I had in mind was, giving the same courtesy to the person who dropped you an EC is what this is all about. But, I was wrong! Through dropping entrecards, I get the chance to visit other people's blogs, read their interesting stories, learn new things, and make new friends. This is really fun and now, I enjoy doing it :) I hope I'd get to drop more ECs here soon.

Page Load Error

First of, thank you to my new friends here on Blogger who, spend time visiting my blog, leaving me messages, and dropping ECs. I'm so grateful for that and I do appreciate your time a lot. On the other hand, I would like to extend my heartfelt apology to those whose blogs I haven't visited yet for now. As a matter of fact, I've been trying to view your pages, but every time I'd click on your link and another window pops up, I always encounter the same problem which I think some of you encounter, too sometimes - Page Load Error!!

If you have Cbox or Shoutmix on your blogs, I'll leave a message there to let you know I was on your page. And to those who are in my Topper Bloggers' list that have the Cbox or Shoutmix and didn't see any message from me, that means I couldn't view your blog's site. I apologize in advance. I just want you to know that I find time to read your posts as long as I don't encounter any web problem :)

And to those who had dropped me ECs, thank you!! The moment I get to view your blogs, I will definitely drop you an EC, too. Just having some problems right now. I hope this will get fixed in no time. For now, I'll continue visiting blogs and reading posts for probably an hour, then I'll log out and won't be back till later on. Got some stuff to take care right now :)

Why You Get So Much Spam E-Mails

I bet everyone of us here hates Spam E-mails just as much as I do. Not only that they fill up our inbox every single day with dozen of mails we have nothing to do with, they can be quite annoying, too. So, when I got this e-mail from a friend about the fact on how Spam e-mails can actually reach our inbox, I decided to check Snopes.com as mentioned in the e-mail to see what is it all about. I was into trying to find any possible solution on my own, but I didn't find what I was looking for. This e-mail is actually about the so-called "Chain E-mails" that we often receive from senders (family, friends, acquaintances) every now and then. I am not a big fan of it, but I must admit, sometimes I'd do that. But after reading the whole thing, I doubt if I would even entertain such e-mails again.

This e-mail is the exception that proves the rule!

1) Any time you see an E-Mail that says forward this on to '10' of your friends, sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck, good luck, or whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to. The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is able to get lists of 'active' E-Mails to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to other spammers.

2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most cards. All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is, is a way to get names and 'cookie ' tracking information for telemarketers and spammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.

You can do your friends and family members a GREAT favor by sending this information to them; you will be providing a service to your friends, and will be rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!

If you have been sending out (FORWARDING) the above kinds of E-Mail, now you know why you get so much SPAM!

Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings regardless how inviting they might sound!

You may think you are supporting a GREAT cause, but you are NOT in the long run. Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later! Plus, we are helping the spammers get rich! Let's don't make it easy for them!

Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to Congress or any other organization. To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed signature and full address of the person signing the petition.

Really Odd!!

It's been going on like this for the whole day today, and it has finally got into me now..For some reason, every time I click on your link to see your blog site, the browser always pops up as "Problem Loading Page." Even on Multiply, it's been like that today..I don't know what's going on..Have you been experiencing the same thing I did?! Does it have something to do with me using Firefox and not IE?! But, I really don't see any difference between the two..It was working perfectly yesterday and the other day..It just started showing up as "Problem Loading Page" this morning when I tried to check on both sites..I can browse other websites such as Friendster, MySpace, and Yahoo, and the others, too..The only sites that would seem not to let me through are, Blogger and Multiply..I can open Multiply, but just up to my Inbox..The moment I click on an update from you guys, the same thing pops up..I can't even view my own site :( What is going on?! Can anybody, please tell me what to do with this one if I'm the only one who's experiencing this right now?! I'm so sorry I can't view your blogs, yet..This problem is hampering me from doing so..I hope this will get fixed the earliest possible..I want to see your blogs, too and read what you guys have written on there..It just saddens me that I can't seem to do it right now :(
