So Much To Write About..

It's only been 6 days [today] since I got here in the States, but for me, it already feels like longer than that. Aside from the fact that I miss my family back home, every single day has been a long one, especially those days I've spent at home alone when everyone has gone to work. But, for the past five days, every time my husband came home from work, he'd always taken me out for a drive to get something or for us to do things together. He doesn't want staying at home and wasting time for nothing and plus, he knows it would help me adjust faster and would help me with my homesickness. And I'm happy to say that I may haven't been here that long yet, but I've done a lot of things already. There's really so much for me to write about my first week here in San Diego, but today, my husband is going to take me to Balboa, to a Military hospital, to get me in to NTC and for me to have my first check-up here. I hope it won't take that long because he also needs to report to work real quick to get something done. He said he might take me with him but I'll just stay in the car since it won't take him too long to finish it. I'm sure it's going to be a great day :) Driving around with my husband is so much fun and I love it!!

eden said...: that's a good way to ease your homesickness, kirsti. we did that too the first time I arrived here after hubby came home from work since he finished off early before 3:00 pm which was great. sometimes we did a walk around our sub urb.

you know, like you, I arrived here 4 months pregnant and was so sick right through my pregnancy and the worst thing was i arrived here in the middle of the winter season. that was so hard for me those times.
