Safety First

2 Sweet Notes
I am a very big fan of motorbikes. As a matter of fact, I'm a very good driver and I even used to race when I was in high school back home. Of course, my family never approved of me driving too fast, but to me, it was always a blast. The adrenalin rush while driving fast was just something I simply couldn't resist. That was one of my favorite pastimes - driving. I've been in a lot of troubles because of that, but I wouldn't take anything back for the world.

Of course, looking back to the things I used to do with my bike, how I wish I had all the gears needed to protect me at the time from getting myself seriously injured in case something would have happened to me. I must admit, I never had the appropriate gears except for a helmet that's why I've always gotten my butt handed to me every time I'd get home and my grandparents had already heard the "news" from other people telling them that they saw me driving at a speed I shouldn't have dared to even try. I knew they were right, but I was a kid and I didn't care about the danger lurking around every bend ready to take me in a snap had I done something that might have caused an accident and got me badly injured, or the worst case scenario, killed. So from now, I'm going to be on the safer side and do my best to follow safety rules. And if I have to get new gears, one thing I'd probably spend more money on is, a helmet. I want something like one of the scorpion helmets and I want it in green color. They just look so tight and awesome and I can already imagine myself wearing one while driving fast like I used to, or, even faster now with all the necessary gears on. I can't wait to be back on track! I miss the adrenalin rush and the excitement and fun while racing. Only this time, I'm going to play it safer -- to enjoy it even longer.

Finding Myself Within

Leave A Note
For twenty six (26) years, I have been in between questions about my real purpose as to why I am here, and the answers I know I have but just don't know how and where to seek for them, thus, leaving me more confused than I've ever been in my entire being. For years, I never knew which path to tread on to find answers and put end to those questions, once and for all. Looking at myself right now, I honestly don't think I am growing up and making any progress in life at all because I don't feel whole deep inside. I feel like, there are some things still missing and without them, I really won't get to know myself - the real me and the purpose of my existence.

In times like this, I can only think of one thing that would clearly help me explore my own being to become whole as a person: Spiritual Awareness. I have been trying to reevaluate everything I possibly could in my life; from the past paths and decisions I've taken that led me to where I am now, the new things I have in the present and what they've contributed so far, and to the things that are yet to come. I've tried and tried, but nothing happened. I guess, I am this way because I've always set limitations instead of just allowing myself to simply be. It's like, I've always been physically ready to venture out, but not spiritually, thus, struggling myself and leaving me just confused and alone. I simply didn't allow myself to be aware of the signposts that could have helped me find the right paths to take. I think it wouldn't have been this tough on me now had I not been busy figuring things out the other way. And I don't want it to be this way because I don't want to keep repeating the whole thing endlessly.

I need enlightenment to become whole, to make that change in my life that I've always longed for. I want to better myself for my love ones without feeling incomplete anymore so I could give them my all. I must be freed from the rustic everyday routine and give time to myself to really be still, to be that person I can someday be proud of. And, I must stop getting my mind seduced by any other option aside from what my heart really is telling me. That's the only way I'd get to fully understand the purpose of my existence and make use of it and hopefully, be able to share it to others and be a help when they need it. When I'm set to just one goal, I know everything will follow and I'll receive the truth and answers to all these questions as long as I let my spirit be.

Trailer Hitch

Leave A Note
When we moved out of California, we traveled by automobile because I wasn't allowed to travel by plane anymore. I was already 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our second child when we started the drive, so just imagine how worried I was having to travel more than a thousand miles in that condition, not to mention having an 11-month old baby in the backseat of the car at the same time. And because we used the Sentra, we only were able to fit so much in both the trunk and backseat so we rented out a small trailer to put more stuff in. Mind you, our car isn't that big so I got very worried that it might not be strong enough to pull a trailer filled with our things. I literally was scared we might not be able to make it without having the car breaking down in the middle of nowhere and me going into labor and not making it to a hospital in time. It took a lot out of my husband to finally calm me down and assured me that the curt trailer hitch he got is strong enough to hold the trailer without damaging the vehicle. He even showed me the multi-fit receiver hitch and the ball mount used to attach the trailer to the back of the car just so I'd see that there was nothing I need to worry about. And he was right!

It took us days till we reached our destination and until now, even a year ago, I still couldn't believe that we made it safe and sound and the car never broke down on us, not even once during the whole travel. And for that, I'll always be grateful to God for watching over us the entire time!

Ruby Tuesday: Belated Birthday Roses

Leave A Note

My husband surprised me with this bouquet of roses four days after my birthday. Just so you know, he didn't forget about my birthday at all. Since the 1st of August, he's been doing CPO training and has been gone almost 20 hours a day. He had to do important things on my day and he couldn't leave early so we celebrated it the day after. He bought a cake and he did make up for missing my birthday, like he promised he would. I thought the cake and the "special moment with me" were enough, but apparently, I was wrong that's why I got really surprised when he walked in from training one night holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He greeted me "Happy belated Birthday, my baby!" for the fifth time, I guess, and gave me a sweet hug and kisses.

My baby definitely knows how to make me feel really loved and special. And he does know how to make my heart melt with the simple things he does for me. I am so blessed to be his wife!

New Case for My iPad

Leave A Note
It's been weeks now that I haven't used the black leather case for my iPad. I started getting tired of it because it's bulky and it adds weight and with me having small hands, it's really tough for me to use it especially when I'm playing and I need to type without the keyboard. It just got so annoying that I had to take the iPad out and I have been using it since without a case to protect it, which actually worries me now because it might get scratched and if in case I end up dropping it, it's not protected at all. My husband already called me out on that but I never put the case back on again. I just refuse to use it again!

With that being said, what I would really love to have for my iPad is, a bag - something customized just like the cellphone bag I used to have back home for my mobile phone. It's light and portable and I can take it with me anywhere without having to worry about the iPad getting scratched up and all that. I would prefer either one of the horizontal custom iPad sleeves or the vertical iPad sleeve. But if I have to get one, I'd go for the customized sleeve so I can decide what color I want for the exterior, interior, and binding. I know it probably will cost me more than not having it customized, but I think it'll be worth it. It will kind of be like, my own style because I chose the colors.

I enjoy using my iPad now without a case more than when it had one on. That's why I would really love to get a bag where I can keep it when I'm not using it and I can just pull it out when I need it. It will be so much better for me that way. No more bulky case and my hands won't get too tired and inflexible after holding it for awhile when I'm either playing or typing without using its keyboard.

GT: You Got It Wrong, Girl!!

1 Sweet Note
Spelling was one of my favorites back in elementary and high school. (We've rarely done it in college.) I loved it and I've actually been in a lot of competitions where I've won 1st Place. Not to brag or anything, but I can be confident with my spelling. I think, misspelling words in the past and my passion for reading, had something to do with how good I can be in spelling words now.

When I was in elementary (4th grade), I joined my first ever Spelling Bee contest. The word I misspelled and had gotten it wrong a couple of times was, "rendezvous". I always got confused as to whether Z comes first or the S. I didn't get it right again when I was in 6th grade, but thank heavens, I still got the 1st Place!

The other words that I've misspelled several times were, "coup d'état" and "meringue". I got confused because they're not pronounced by how they're spelled. Silent letters can definitely mess with your brain pretty good and not to mention, the pronunciation. [hehe] If I didn't get the words "facade" and "chauffeur" correctly spelled at that competition in high school (2nd year/Sophomore), I probably wouldn't have gotten the first place. If I'm not mistaken, there were 3 rounds and I placed 2nd on the second round. And I remember vividly the word I didn't spell right at the time - - it was, "sheriff".

Get Established Ahead of Time

Leave A Note
Inasmuch as I don't want to really think about stuff like death as early and as young as I am now, being here in the U.S. didn't make that possible for us to just set it aside and not even worry about a single thing that has something to do with it. It's like part of being a responsible parent that you have to plan early about yours and your love ones lives as far as getting them taken care of in case something happens to you.

Getting a life insurance is really a necessity! Having one ensures you that your children or spouse will be taken care of financially even after your death. You no longer have to worry about putting them in debt because they couldn't afford funeral expenses, thus, leaving them with more burden to carry and worry about. Company Offers Life Insurance to families who want to buy a lower cost insurance coverage for life. It may sound like a very simple thing to accomplish, but it really requires thorough checking on what insurance company best suits you and your family's needs. Another thing to consider is, looking for the best rate available. That's why it's so important that you choose companies that are willing to let you check out their online quote to compare prices and see which one offers lower insurance rates, and from there, you can proceed to the next step.

I'm thankful that as early as now, I am already aware of things like this that we need to take into consideration if we don't want our kids to be put in situation where they have to be in serious debt because we never planned for their future. Like what my husband always tells me, prior planning prevents poor performance.

Getting a Broadway dose of The Addams Family

Leave A Note
I really love making trips to New York to see Broadway plays. I've been several times over the years and I've seen just about all of the touristy stuff that I can. So what I like to do mostly now is go and see Broadway plays. Those are always consistent things that you know will be really great. But this time around there was one play that I really wanted to see and that's The Addams Family.

See, Brooke Shields is in the play now and I've always liked her, so I thought it would be neat to see her in it. As I was looking online to buy tickets for it before the trip, I ran across the website http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing-locations/north-carolina/c/charlotte/. After I looked through it some, I decided to sign up for a hearing aid test and got some before I went on the trip.

I got some pretty good seats and ordering online definitely beat standing out in the summer sun for discount tickets. The play was great and really funny!

An Easier and Faster Way

Leave A Note
Have you ever tried organizing an event and had a hard time trying to send out invitations to all people and you just wished you could have done it in an easier and faster way where it didn't have to take so much out of your time?

If you answered yes, well, just imagine how it could be like in the medical field. With hundreds of thousands of healthcare practitioners, what other easier way is there than to reach out to them when there is an important event coming up, with a few clicks in just a matter of minutes? No doubt, doctor email list, doctor mailing list, and physician mailing list are more than likely heaven-sent to whoever is assigned to do such task. When it comes to selecting the highest quality healthcare providers, doctor email list is where you can find all the elements collected about doctors such as their DEA#/NPI#/State License#/Tax ID#/UPIN#, Prescribing Data, Number of physicians on site, types of insurance they accept, Full provider name, and license type, to name a few. Plus, they are updated monthly and phone verified twice a year. What the list features is a big help when it comes to choosing the type of healthcare providers for marketing, sales force, and compliance integration without going through tedious and expensive process just to sort through the facts. And if you have all this, you can get your job done in no time. All you have to do is click on the list and you will find what you need.

The Shorter, The Better

Leave A Note
Sometimes, I do suck at typing especially when I have to type long words. I tend to misspell the words and I don't notice it right away, thus, taking so much out of my time to have to retype and make sure I don't make the same error again. The same thing goes when I am browsing around or when I need to type a certain URL just to view a website.

One thing I really am not a big fan of when browsing the internet is, having to type long URLs. I mean, I literally wish we could of shorten them to make it more easier to type and memorize URLs. When I came across a website called PlusG, it got my attention when I read that it provides a short and easy way to remember your Google ID. It basically lets you shorten your ID so you don't have to type the whole thing to get to your page. I think it's awesome because it is absolutely free and you don't even need to type in your information to use it. You just go to their website, follow the instructions, and then, you're good to go. I actually would love to try this out as well to see how it really works.

Saturday 9: You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'

Leave A Note
What a Saturday?! We all had to wake up really early to get to our 10AM appointment at the WIC office. We needed to re-enroll the kids and myself in the program and enroll the new baby at the same time. It's not really fun going to morning appointments anymore with 3 kids. I hate mornings and getting up early because I already hardly get any sleep. I wake up at least every 4 hours to feed the little girl, and most of the time, I actually stay up so I won't miss her feedings. Now, I am not saying it's not my fault for not going to bed early. But really, when you have a newborn and you also take care of 2 toddlers at the same time, I don't think you can just go to bed and get some sleep whenever you want. If you can, then good on you for still having that type of "luxury". Yes, I call it a luxury now. If I can get at least 6-hour straight of sleep, that'll be heaven! I honestly don't even remember the last time I slept straight for that long anymore. That's how much my life had changed! But I love it...with all of my heart!Photobucket

Whew! So much for that.. Let's move on now to Saturday 9 ;)

1. In a relationship, have you ever hung in even when you knew for sure it was over?
- No, I haven't. To me, once over, it's over...

2. If you had the ability to perpetually alleviate any pain on your body, what would it be?
- I'd say, muscle pains from pregnancy and giving birth.. I still feel so sore up to now.. It makes me unable to do stuff around the house and I feel bad when I am not able to do more with the kids because I am hurting..

3. What place would you visit if money were no object?
- Holy Land, definitely.. Tour Middle East (except for those very bad areas..)

4. What is one thing you would love to change about yourself?
- The way I deal with things sometimes.. I get my emotions in the way so quickly, making it hard for me to think straight and not look selfish..

5. Do you think your parents were too strict growing up?
- They were strict but they did it in a right way.. They gave us their trust while at the same time, guiding our every step and making sure we'd never go astray.. They disciplined us in the most loving way and I can never thank them for raising us up the way they did..

6. In general, how many old friends do you have that you talk to at least once a year?
- Two..

7. What was the last compliment you received?
- My husband told me I look pretty.. (no objections allowed..hehe)Photobucket

8. Have you ever told someone you loved them but didn't really mean it?
- No, I haven't and I never will.. I will never ever lie about that feeling and hurt someone else's just because I want to say it for the heck of it..

9. In your opinion, would it be harder to lose someone close to you more as a child or harder as an adult?
- Harder as an adult because you've already spent more time with that someone and you obviously are old enough to understand things and what losing someone can make you feel.. Whereas, if you're a child, it's easier to adjust and cope with emotional stress because they're too young to understand things. You just need to divert their attention to something else and they'd be fine after a few days..

Just Being Thankful...

Leave A Note
It's been four months now since my husband put up the desktop computer and the computer table in our kitchen for me to have my own place where I could write and blog. I remember, though that it almost didn't work out because we couldn't find the computer network cable that was accidentally packed separately when we moved. He had to go to the store to get one only to find out a few days later that the cable we were looking for was actually packed together with the other electronics.

I just want to acknowledge the small things he does for me and show him how much I appreciate them. I never asked him to set up the computer set, but when he noticed that I was having a hard time using the MacBook, he asked me if I wanted to use the computer instead and if I do, he'll pull out the computer table out of the garage and set everything up for me. I told him yes and he did exactly what he said he'll do. But of course, I didn't leave him doing everything all by himself. I helped clean the table and I rearranged the kitchen so it won't look too crowded with the computer set in it.

Such a small gesture but it meant a lot, and for this, I know I cannot thank my husband enough for doing what he did for me.

Oral Hygiene

Leave A Note
Oral hygiene is one of the most important health habits in our family, that's why from the time our kids started teething, I've always made sure I brush their teeth twice a day using a training toothpaste. Regardless of their teeth being not permanent yet, I still want to make sure they're well taken care of. It's a good thing they've got this fluoride-free toothpaste that definitely makes brushing teeth of two toddlers a lot easier because I no longer need to make them rinse their mouths off. They can swallow it and all I need to do is make sure they get water right after. It saves me time especially before their bedtime.

Two months ago, my husband took our oldest son to his second dental appointment. By the way, their dentist is the Best Dentist for children in our place and was referred by our children's Pediatrician. Anyway, our son's dental went well and we were happy to know that he's got zero cavity and the dentist actually said, we're doing a great job on keeping their teeth healthy. She even gave him a piece of paper that's kind of like a certificate that says, member of the "No Cavity Club" with his name on it. As parents, it may be a small thing, but it made us proud of ourselves because it just shows we're doing the right thing.

It's a good thing our kids are trained as early as now and that we've insinuated in them how important cleanliness is and staying healthy, so they'll have those habits as they grow older.

Bye, Bye Maternity Clothes!

Leave A Note

Knowing that I usually start to lose pregnancy weight at least two months after giving birth, I decided not to buy a lot of maternity clothes while I was pregnant with our three kids. Believe me, I only have, I think, five pairs of maternity pants with matching tops and a few dresses because I know I won't be wearing those clothes the entire time. I haven't even done a lot of shopping yet because I've been waiting to lose more pounds and besides, I have so many prepregnancy clothes that I can still use once I fit in those again. So I'd say, I probably will go shopping once I'm back to my normal size and I am very determined to get back into shape especially now that we're not planning on having another child, well, I guess at least not for another couple of years.

Now, I will have to put away my maternity outfits until the time I'll be needing them again, if ever, and if not, I already plan on keeping some and send the rest to the Philippines to give to family members. They don't need to be pregnant to fit in those clothes and I actually made sure I bought the ones that anybody can use so they don't go to waste.

I'm actually happy to finally say "goodbye" to my maternity clothes. I hope I don't jinx it, but I really can't wait to lose all my pregnancy weight and have the body back that I had before I got pregnant. I think it'll be a great achievement to still look that way even if I already have three children.

Big Drums = Huge Help

Leave A Note
When I was still in the Philippines, especially when I lived in the city, having days without water supply was a very usual thing and I got so used to it that it never bugged me a bit anymore for the rest of the time I was there. But after living here in the US for more than 2 years now, every time I'd take a shower, I couldn't help but remember the life I had back home. For the whole 7 years I lived in the city, I can honestly count the times I was able to use the shower in our apartment. Not because the shower was faulty, but because water there is scarce, it couldn't even go up a shower pipeline. It was always frustrating and there were even times we had to fill buckets up just to have water to use for those days they'd completely shut down water supply. We didn't have bigger containers, so it was tough, every time. Wish we had these huge stainless steel drums to store water in, then maybe it would've been easier on us and we didn't need to worry if we actually stored enough water to last us till the water supply is back.

And speaking of huge containers, I honestly wonder if there's a place there where people can get something like these drums because I'm sure, it'll be a huge help to whoever will own them.

Thanks To Coupons!

Leave A Note
Have you ever experienced almost being broke to where you literally had to cut costs of some expenses for the house just so you'd have extra money for gas to take you to work? Have you been to a grocery store and had to cross out some items you were hoping you could buy off your list to give priority to the ones really more important? Have you been living paycheck to paycheck?

Things really can be tough when you're put in a situation that has something to do with money issues. I hate to say it, but most of the time, money does run our lives. I cannot imagine, honestly, a life with no money. You don't have to have a lot, but generally speaking, you do need it to survive.

I am a Mother of 3 now and I know that the expenses around the house aren't going any lower anymore. Gone are those days when we only had to worry about the two of us and we could still save some extra cash. But with 3 kids, it's really hard now. Money goes out of the window as fast as it got in. We need to buy food for all 5 of us and we need to be careful with the budget because we still need to pay bills and gas for the car to take my husband to work. That's why we've started taking advantage of great deals and stuff like sears coupons if there are available ones for the items we need to purchase. Coupons may only offer like a dollar or two or even just a few cents off of an item, but to us, it's already a big help - a life saver - and I cannot say "Thank you" enough for inventing them. Every penny does count and for a family like ours with only a single income coming in, a penny means an amount saved for later use.

Beautiful Homes By The Lake

Leave A Note
If there is one thing that I will be willing to put a lot of money into, that would be a really beautiful home in a nice neighborhood and of course, safe location. I love homes that look kind of like simple on the outside, but jaw-dropping in the inside. I would love to have a huge front and backyard where we all can hang out and be able to invite friends over to have fun. Plus, we've got 3 kids and 2 dogs, so we do need a huge place for all of them to play around.

When it comes to getting ideas about houses, designs, or even tips on how to decorate your dream house, I always browse around to look at different styles of houses, in and out, on the internet. I found lots of sites where I somehow was able to grab an idea or two, but the site that caught my attention the most was the one that has these beautiful Table Rock lake homes. While looking at the photos of houses and just where the place is located at, I was really astonished! The houses, the location, the beautiful view of the lake from a balcony, all of them are just unbelievable! It's definitely a paradise and I can only wish we could own a place like that and call it our retirement home because it's perfect. That kind of home where you would love to grow old in and spend the rest of your time with your family. A place like that has a lot to offer. And I bet, if you live in a place like that, you'll never ever get to experience any dull moment anymore because you know you'll never run out of things to do, indoors or outdoors. It's just simply - perfect.

GT: The Newest Word I've Learned

4 Sweet Notes
First of all, IT'S SO NICE TO BE BACK! I can't believe I've missed out on a lot of fun topics. I've been away for too long due to giving birth and I just got my not-a-lot-of-free-time back. I'm just happy I'm writing a post for GT again! :)

Anyway, speaking of the latest new word we've learned, mine is "pot`o". It's a Korean word which means, butter. I'm sure some of you were able to watch the Banana Split's episode where Ryan Bang, in his Kore-Pino segment, shared two Korean words that sound similar to some Filipino words . Not only did I find it funny, it's actually a good way of sharing and teaching people how to learn some basic Korean words. I, myself, would love to learn Korean. I love watching Korean TV series and I honestly am hoping that one day, I'd get to watch it not dubbed in Tagalog, and above of all, without subtitles since that can be really annoying when you have to read and watch at the same time. Better yet, just press mute button. Actions speak louder than word, anyway. And I think I'll get to appreciate it more when I can actually hear the person's actual voice.

Well, I won't give up on this dream! :) It may not be anytime soon, but one day, I will just surprise the world by speaking (almost) fluently in Korean. For now, let it be just a dream.

He's Got The Style

Leave A Note
My husband loves to dress up and every time he does, he presents himself really good. His style is simple yet elegant. Aside from his good looks (I'm not saying this because he's my husband, it's because that's the truth), one of the first things that you'll notice about him is, they way he dresses himself up. You'd probably get an idea right then and there about what type of a person he is. Though, not all first impressions last, I guarantee, he will make an impression on you that you'd probably remember about him for a long period of time.

My husband is a tall guy, so just imagine the sizes of clothes he wears. I've even worn some of his shirts when I was pregnant, up to my 9th month, and mine wouldn't fit me. Big and Tall Clothing can definitely best describe the size of clothes he wears. I really love it when I see him in a simple outfit but brings out that good looks he's got. Make him wear any type of clothing and he will surely bring justice to it, literally. And another thing I admire about his fashion is, he would go for comfort as well, not just merely plain style.

I think fashion is somewhat similar to driving. My husband would always tell me, "Remember, it's not the car that makes the driver. It's the driver that makes the car." And same for fashion. I honestly believe that it's not the clothes you wear that make you look great. It's how you carry and present yourself that make the outfit look even more elegant.

My husband may be a guy, but he sure does have the style!

Our House Needs A Makeover

Leave A Note
Now that we've decided to stay in this house till 2013 when he gets done with his shore duty, we've agreed to do some minor changes around the house. We both want it to feel like our "real" home even just for a short period of time. We will be adding some small touches here and there to add beauty to it. We've already planned on hanging some of our framed photos on the wall and we'll probably rearrange some of our stuff to save more room and make the place look more spacious. But because we have limitations as to how far we can do changes in the house, we know it is not going to be easy.

One disadvantage of renting is, you just can't really change everything you wish to do some changes on. One important example is, the color of the paint. No matter how much you want to change the color in a certain area of the house, you just can't. If anything, you'd have to seek for the owner's approval and if they don't give you permission to do so, then you have no choice but to find other ways to at least make the place look more appealing to you.

Like in our situation right now, we really don't think the darker paint color in the living room suits it. It just makes the already small area look even smaller and kind of stodgy. If we'll be given permission to change the color, we'd like something bright and relaxing to the eyes. But since we can't do anything about that, we tried looking for alternatives and what we've came up with is, change the window curtains instead. Right now, we're using the ones that probably the previous tenants used and they're dark in color. We really definitely need to change them. Kitchen Curtains and the living room as well, need a major replacement. And since the kitchen wall is painted in white, I'm thinking of getting a lighter shade of either green or yellow colored curtains. As far as the living room, I think white would do to help make the area look bigger and brighter. I don't even know what the exact color of the paint is, that's why I'm choosing a neutral shade to play it safe.

When it comes to the bedrooms, we're not really worried about the wall color in our bedroom and the kids'. We actually like them so we won't be needing any big changes in both rooms.

I cannot wait to start redecorating the house! It will be a lot of fun, for sure. I am going to use whatever styling skill I have (if I even have it) to make both areas look really nice yet simple without us having to spend too much. And for me, that's the real challenge right there. So, let the makeover begin!

Browse, Discover, and Learn...

Leave A Note
Ever since I've learned how to use the internet, I have never stopped exploring the World Wide Web. I love doing small researches on just about anything that pops into my head. I love reading about the latest or older headlines on the world news, health and lifestyle, showbiz, fashion and trends, music, videos, history, science, I mean, everything I want to learn something from or just simply find information about a certain thing. To me, doing so is like educating myself in my own way. If there are stuff I want to learn about or questions which need answers, internet has got it all!

Browsing is really fun! I enjoy discovering new things. I get to meet really nice and cool people through their interesting blogs. They may have come from different places all over the world, but they share the same passion - writing. I get to take a sneak peak at what kind of life they live by day after day based on their posts, and nothing can be more fun than that!

(TO BE EDITED!..I didn't even know this got posted..hehehe)

Looking Forward to Be A Working Mom

Leave A Note
I can't wait for the kids to get big enough where I can start working without having to constantly worry about them being taken care of by other people. Right now, it looks like I might wait for a couple more years before I can get a job finally. And when that time comes, I hope I could get a job at a hospital as a Nurse since that's the course I took up in college. I really don't want it to go to waste and not be able to practice the profession I've studied for. And I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to that day. I am so excited that as early as now, I've already started looking at Nursing uniforms from the website: http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. While looking around, I found these medical nursing scrubs and I couldn't believe that they even have one in my favorite color! That made me even more excited. I guess that's a good thing.

But on another note, it does make me feel sad thinking that when I do get a job and start working, I won't be around our kids that much anymore and I don't know how am I going to adjust to not seeing them for hours when I have been so used to being around them 24/7. That's definitely something I must need to work on if I don't want to get fired right away. Separation anxiety on my part might be an issue, but I am willing to change that if I want to help out on financial matter. Raising three kids will soon take its toll on us that's why we need to set up plans as early as now and make sacrifices if we want to give them a better life in the future. Having only one member in the family whose got a job, definitely is not going to work anymore. That's why here soon, I will be one of those working mothers out there. I can only hope and pray that this plan will help better our situation and not create any problems between the kids and us.

A Little Birthday Wish

Leave A Note
I love taking photos. I enjoy most especially when I am taking photos of my love ones. To me, when you capture a certain moment, you freeze time right there, therefore, a memory is preserved forever. That's why while I am still able, I never will cease capturing memories which, I know later on in life, will serve as our window to our beautiful past.

Right now, I am using a camera that John gave me back in 2008. It's still a nice one, that, I won't complain about. But I have been using it since and it has served its time so, I think it's about time to get a new one. Anyway, it's almost my birthday and if there's one thing I would really love to get, I'd choose one of those digital slr cameras. I have read so many good reviews about them and there's this feature that is perfect for taking photos with effects, if you want to. I know they're kind of pricey but I believe, it is absolutely worth it.

I can't wait to own a new camera and start taking more and more pictures especially of my kids. I admit, I never got to take a lot of photos last year, but I will make sure to not make it happen again. I want to have as many photos of them as possible, so that when they get older, they can keep and use them anytime they want to look back at their childhood memories.

Online Fashion

Leave A Note
Shopping clothes online, they say, can be as fun as actually being inside the store and buying clothes. The only difference is that, obviously, when you're doing it online, you don't need to leave the house just to get what you want to buy. All you have to do is sit in front of your computer and start browsing. Once you've found what you're looking for, you don't need to fall in line and wait for your turn to pay for your items, which, can be annoying especially when you're already tired and you have to wait and wait in a long line of people ahead of you.

Online shopping is a perfect thing for busy Moms like me. Although, there can be some disadvantages to that as far as getting the perfect size or making sure the clothes you purchased are really in good shape, I still would prefer doing that in a heartbeat especially now that I am in need of new clothes that would fit me till I lose all the weight I gained during pregnancy. It's only been 7 weeks since I gave birth, so my pre-pregnancy clothes are no go. That's why right now, I'll be needing plus size clothing, that, regardless of how much weight I gained, would still make me look decent and above all, make me feel good about myself while wearing them. And I cannot be more happier knowing that I have found the perfect website where I can do my little online shopping from. I saw that they have online sale going on and I think it's the perfect time to grab the chance to do it. They have all sorts of clothing, shoes and accessories, swim wear, and even lingerie to dresses and suits and even leather, a lot to choose from! Just by looking around and scanning one outfit after another, I pretty am sure I'd be able to get the two most important things to me that I always consider when buying clothes: fashion and comfort. I love wearing nice clothes, but to me, I'll appreciate and enjoy it more when I am actually comfortable in them. And of course, price does matter, but remember, you get what you pay for.

Mirror, Mirror On the Wall

Leave A Note
I really am not a big fan of having too many mirrors inside the house, except for the ones, obviously, that you can find in the bathroom and bedroom. The most number that I can possibly allow is, three. I think you don't need too many of those when you don't really use it all the time.

Right now, we've only got one mirror that's on the wall of our living room. It's a long, plain with black colored frame mirror that my husband got a long time ago. I like that one for the simple fact of, you can see yourself from head to feet, perfect when changing especially if you're looking at yourself trying to see if an outfit suits you or not. I was pretty much content with just one because we don't live in a big house, anyway. Then, I thought about it. Why not get one of those rustic framed mirrors to hang next to the doorway so we have something we can use quickly one more time before leaving the house instead of going to the living room or bathroom just to use a mirror? I think that sounds a good idea, and thinking about that rustic frame design just excites me because I'm sure it'll add flavor to our living room making it look a lot more homey. That's the type of stuff for the house that I love. It is of use and at the same time, can also serve as a decoration.

It's Almost Christmas!

Leave A Note
I honestly can't believe how time flies so fast! It's already August, just four months away till Christmas. Another holiday that I won't be able to spend with my family back home. This is going to be my third Christmas away from them and I just feel so sad realizing that it's been such a long time since the last holiday I spent at home with my love ones.

Coming from a close-knit family, it was very tough on me having to adjust to not being with them on special occasions. I have missed birthdays, holidays, and even just the small get-together we'd usually do every Sunday after attending church. Though, the thought of it always makes me feel sad at times, I'm just glad that there's a lot of ways now for all of us to still stay in contact with each other. So, this holiday season, I will send them Christmas Cards with a message that will surely make them feel how much I love and miss them and will tell them that even though I am not with them physically, I am there to celebrate it with them by heart.
