Anyway, speaking of the latest new word we've learned, mine is "pot`o". It's a Korean word which means, butter. I'm sure some of you were able to watch the Banana Split's episode where Ryan Bang, in his Kore-Pino segment, shared two Korean words that sound similar to some Filipino words . Not only did I find it funny, it's actually a good way of sharing and teaching people how to learn some basic Korean words. I, myself, would love to learn Korean. I love watching Korean TV series and I honestly am hoping that one day, I'd get to watch it not dubbed in Tagalog, and above of all, without subtitles since that can be really annoying when you have to read and watch at the same time. Better yet, just press mute button. Actions speak louder than word, anyway. And I think I'll get to appreciate it more when I can actually hear the person's actual voice.
Well, I won't give up on this dream! :) It may not be anytime soon, but one day, I will just surprise the world by speaking (almost) fluently in Korean. For now, let it be just a dream.

thanks for sharing. As a fan of Koreanovelas, I really want to learn Korean words :)
Happy GT!
Thanks for sharing. Come to think of it, it does sound like the Japanese's version of butter, which is bata, which is like saying butter without the R sound. Maybe they play it by ear and to them it sounds like "pot o"
