Another Chance is All They Need

Everybody deserves a second chance. Regardless of what they've committed in the past, I don't think we're in the right to judge them and condemn them for making mistakes they did. If one did something wrong but admitted his faults and is willing to change for the better, who are we to sit there and impede them from wanting another chance in life?

I'm sure all of us are aware about people with addiction and the most common is, drug addiction problems. We see them on TV almost all of the time and we know they're going through a lot trying to stop it, or as sad as it may sound, wanting to continue on what they're doing. It's a grievous problem that we should not just ignore and treat it as if it doesn't matter at all. We shouldn't have this type of mentality where we think that no matter what we do, they're just going to keep on doing it anyway, so why waste time on people like them when we've already got some more serious issues to deal with. Am I right?

It's just sad that drug addiction just doesn't seem to have an end at all. Watching drugs in the news and stories of people of all ages who are suffering from this problem just make me feel sad knowing that it has ruined so many lives already and yet, people don't learn from them. I just don't know anymore as to how many more lives do we need to witness being shattered because of drug addiction before we actually stop it from getting worse and worse and from taking away precious lives, especially the youths. It just is scary nobody seems to want to do something about it anymore. I can only hope there will be a cure for this.
