Today, the phone came in the mail and I saw how happy he was. Well, I would be as well if it's mine. When he opened the box and finally saw the phone, he got even more excited. I did, too. The phone didn't only come in good condition, it also looks awesome! It's so much lighter than the old Droid and the screen is wider. It's such a beautiful phone!
When he finally turned it on, he noticed that there were still apps installed and there were even contacts still left on the phone book. We thought it was weird since most people who sold their phones would switch them back to factory settings to remove all their data installed. Thinking that maybe the former owner just forgot to do so, we kind of shrugged the thought of it off and he continued on what he was doing. He then hopped online to transfer his number from the old phone to the new one. When he ran the serial number of the new phone, I saw the look of dismay on his face when it came out reported as STOLEN! He couldn't believe it because that night before he put the bid on that phone, he called the phone service company first to verify if the serial number of the phone he found from one of the photos that the seller took and published on the website is working or not and he's been told it was good. So he went ahead and bought it. My husband will never buy something unless he's sure it's working and won't be just a waste of money. But unfortunately, it's not 100% guaranteed that people who sell stuff online are all honest and it's sad to say that my husband has been victimized this time. He already filed a case against the seller and he will be getting his money back. It's a relief that he won't lose his money, but it's a sad thing to know that some people do such things to debase themselves for money and do damages to other people, who, probably are dealing with financial difficulties as well. I just pray that those type of people will eventually learn their lessons and realize that what they're doing is wrong. It's just so heartbreaking!

so sorry about the stolen phone...marami talagang mga taong walang puso sa ngayon.
I know, Ate Nelda..Naawa nga ako sa asawa ko kase nagloloko na talaga phone nya at gustong-gusto pa man din nya yung phone. Ngayon, tiyaga nalang ulet sya sa luma..Pero nag-file na sya ng case laban dun sa nanloko and hopefully, he'll get the money back soon..Diyos na bahala sa mga taong walang puso at di marunong maawa sa kapwa-tao...
