Hubby Gave Me His iPad 1st Gen.

Last week, my husband finally got the iPad2 that he ordered online. He was actually already getting impatient about it because it took him almost 2 months before he received it on the mail. Apparently, there was a supply shortage and that's why it took that long for the package to get here.

Now that he has his new iPad2, he said that I can have the older iPad which he got on the 30th of January. So basically, the iPad is only 3 months old and to me, that's still new. He's only been using it to play games, read news, check his e-mails and Facebook. Sometimes, I'd use it to log in to my Facebook as well or do a quick search on the internet so I don't need to turn on either the laptop or the computer.

I am not a big fan of gadgets, but I find them very useful and handy, like the iPad. I don't care if I don't have the iPad2, he already got me the iPhone4 so I think that makes things even. [hehe] One cool feature about the new iPad is, Face Time. And since I have that on my phone as well, we can do Face Time now if we want. As a matter of fact, he already tried it once while we were both in the living room. It was so funny because we were sitting next to each other and we were "Face Timing".

I still don't know really on what I'll do with the iPad. I mean, what I'll put on there to make it more useful. There are only 4 apps that I can think of right now that I know I'll be using a lot: Friendly for Facebook, iBooks, Yahoo! Messenger, and games. Well, I guess I'll just get the hang of it along the way.
