I only got into watching those types of show when I got here. My husband loves watching court shows. He's right, it's not always a pleasant thing to watch, but you can actually learn a lot from other people's experiences, and you can educate yourself on how the law works in different situations.
I have seen family members suing one another, friends fighting over money, material things, and a lot more. You'd be surprised to see a son or daughter suing their parents because of money. I mean, seriously? Your own parents? That, I cannot stand! Regardless of them making a mistake, I don't think you need to take it to that extreme - sue the people who basically gave you life and raised you. Just ridiculous, I think.
Anyway, most of the time, people deal with business matters. It always goes like this; a person is suing this person due to an unpaid amount of rent for these months of so and so, plus the utilities and other expenses. While on the other side of the courtroom, the defendant is counter-suing the plaintiff for damages to their properties, and so on and so on. And most of them are like young adults. Sometimes I cannot help but wonder how they're able to pay their lawyers if they cannot even pay their rent? Aren't lawyers like business lawyers raleigh nc expensive? Or, do they get in free of charge in exchange for them allowing their cases to be featured in their show? I may be wrong. But that's only based on what I've heard about how much you can get charged for hiring a lawyer to defend your case.
But really, it's always good to know things one at a time, especially if you know it can benefit you in the future. You may not like it completely, but you'll be amazed on how much information you got by the end of the show. It's really cool!
