While I was in our basement looking for plastic tote for the baby stuff I have been wanting to put away, I found a lot of small items that my husband bought while he was in deployment. I'm just so amazed that it's been four years and they haven't even been opened. I actually doubt he even remembers some of them. I'm sure he'll be surprised when he gets home later if I showed him.

I found different kinds of key chains he got from Japan, some souvenir items we both got when we were in Malaysia, and something interesting caught my attention - a small wooden box that, from its design, I could tell he bought it when he was in the Middle East. I'm talking about a
humidor. It's actually nice, but I'm just wondering why he decided to buy one when he doesn't even smoke!? Perhaps, something he wanted to have because he obviously liked it. Well, I do, too. I want to make use of it, but how? Store in receipts? That could work. I don't know. I'll wait and ask him if I can do whatever I want with it. I mean, he's probably saving it so I just don't want to sit there and take it without asking for his permission. After all, it's his thing.
Anyway, I'm so glad I finally was able to put away the baby stuff! Mission accomplished! I really have been procrastinating about it, but good thing I really didn't have much to do today, so I took care of that. Another thing I can cross out from my spring cleaning to-do list. Now, time to make dinner and take care of the babies.
