I first got so interested in horses when I first watched this Filipino romance movie titled, Forever, that until now, I still love watching over and over again. It's about a rich, young girl, who ran away from home because she didn't like the guy that her mother wanted her to marry. She went to the city, changed her identity, met a guy that, obviously, her parents didn't approve at first, fell in love with him, and of course, like any other love story, they had to go through a lot of hurdles, but in the end, still lived happily ever after.
Anyway, she's a great horse rider. And when I say great, I mean she is one of our country's best equestriennes, and she's really good in individual show jumping. I once dreamed of becoming like her. I love horses! But unfortunately, that remained as a dream. I don't think I have all the time to make that dream come true now. I don't even really know how to ride horses, to begin with. And I think you need to spend a lot to get into a horseback riding lesson. But who knows? One of my 3 kids might get interested in it one day, and I will be more than willing to support them if that happens. I think it'll be great to see them accomplish something that I just once dreamed of. It may not be me, but I'd still be as proud, if not even more, as I would have been if I were to achieve the dreams I once had for myself.
