What To Do?

I still am trying to figure out on how I can increase my site's rank without having to wait for a long time like I did before.  I know that I lost it because I haven't been as active as I used to, but still it saddens me that it happened too fast!  It's not like I lost one point after another.  I lost all 3 points in like a blink of an eye!  Now, I'm back to the starting point and have to work my way up again.  I don't know how long it's going to take me this time, but I am determined to gain my website's rank, one point at a time.

I mean, tell me.  What do I really need to do to increase traffic on my blog?  Do I need to add more blog widgets to my site?  Perhaps,  increase quality backlinks? I have no idea right now.  I guess all I could do is keep my blog updated and visit more bloggers' websites to add traffic to mine.  Anything helps.
