In This Scorching Hot Weather

How I wish we have our own pool, or at least we're close to a water park where we could take the kids to play in the water, cool off, and just enjoy without having to feel like you're baking inside your own house! 

Seriously speaking, this house is a little weird.  When it's cold, it pushes out the warm air.  But, in the summertime, it traps heat inside the house.  It's crazy that outside can be cooler than it is inside the house.  As much as we would like to not use the AC a lot, we've got no choice.  We have small kids, and we cannot just let them sweat their little butts off.

Oh, but we do have an inflatable mini pool that we bought last year that hasn't been used yet.  It's a decent size and I think we all could fit in.  We just have one more issue, the water.  For some reason, the temperature here could go up to 100d F, but the water stays cold.  By the way, can an intellichlor be used in mini pools like we have to produce chlorine and sanitize the water?  Is that too much? Well, I'm just asking.  ;)
