Leisurely Monday

I haven't done anything today but stayed at home; I read an English novel (which I probably would finish reading by tomorrow if I just devote time into it), watched movie (Camp Rock again. Just had to watch it one more time), and slept the whole afternoon. We didn't have classes because it's a holiday. My school is a Catholic school and every 8th of September, they celebrate the 'Holy Immaculate' something. I'm sorry, I just don't know what they exactly call that as I am not a Catholic. I was supposed to go out today but I wasn't feeling that well because of my eyes. For some reason, my right eye started hurting and when I checked in the mirror, I had pinkish conjunctiva and it was a bit tender when I even slightly pressed my upper eyelid. I was like, 'Oh no, conjunctivitis!' I had to think of any possible reason as to what might have triggered this infection. Probably, I irritated it by scratching my eyes. So, as much as I wanted to do blogging instead, I had no choice but to rest my eyes. Good thing, when I woke up and checked in the mirror again, my eye was way better than how it looked like earlier today.

It rained pretty badly tonight, too and the wind was a bit strong that I had to totally close my windows so rain won't get in as it was blowing towards my room's direction. Outside, the streets are flooded. Hey, what's new?! And what rags me right now is that, I think the water stinks. If only I got somewhere else to go, I'd be out here in a heartbeat. The smell is just so awful!! I heard that there's a typhoon kicking in. That explains why it was so freaking hot before it rained. I literally woke up soaked in my own sweat!! I had to take shower again to freshen up. This really hot temperature nowadays is pushing my patience to its limits. I can't take it any longer!! How I wish we have a really huge fridge where I could fit in so I'll just stay inside while the sun is still up outside and come out when it's cooler. No joke, I will do that. I would rather trap myself inside it that continue to endure the agony of overweening heat!!
