I'm so happy that I got to watch the premiere telecast of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock! I had been waiting for this movie because I wanted to see if I will like it just the way I got hooked on HS Musical. And I'd say, I loved it!! I've always loved movies like this. They are fun to watch and I really get entertained just by the story's twists and its ending. Not only do I love musical movies, I also love happy endings.

Camp Rock (directed by Matthew Diamond), is a story about friendship and just being yourself amidst peer pressure.
That's what happened to Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), a teen with an amazing voice and an enormous ambition to pursue her love in music which brings her to want so bad to spend her summer vacation at a prestigious rock camp. Unfortunately, the camp was a bit too much for her and her family to afford and fit in to their priorities as of the moment. But, seemed like plans were working on her side when her mother got hired to be the camp's cook and she'll get to attend with a discount if she'll work in the kitchen as well. Her just-being-herself was put to test when she meets the so-called Queen of Camp Rock, Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) and her back-ups Peggy (Jasmine Richards) and Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle). Torn in between pretending to be a well-off kid and hiding the truth that her mother is, in fact working at the camp as the cook, Mitchie finds herself entangled in the mess she herself has started. In order to set things right, she must first learn to accept who she really is, believe in her abilities and what she can be, and stay true to herself all the time. Inspired by Shane Gray (Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers), a pop star and the camp's celebrity instructor, Mitchie finally found her way out of the kitchen world and laid-back-self into the spotlight as who she truly is.
Camp Rock features camp rockin' hit songs such as; This is Real, This is Me, Gotta Find you, Play My Music, and We Rock to name a few.
Lesson learned: You need not to create some lies about you just so you'd fit in and be popular because you feel intimidated by those who, you think got everything. Because when you're being yourself, you're most likely to stand out. Remember, there is no other you but you and you are a one unique person. You have so much in you that others would love to be in your shoes. But, you'll never realize that if you don't believe in yourself. So, why try so hard to fit, when you were born to stand out?
