I just knew it - I am Missing Him!!

I already tried getting more sleep since I only slept for like 5 hours last night, but I simply couldn't. For some reason, even the ticking sound of the clock which is even a few meters away from me, seems to be a bother. I couldn't make myself fall asleep. I tried reading. I drank a glass of milk. I even tried listening music, but none worked on me. I just laid in bed, half of my body aching to get some rest.

My husband left the ship yesterday afternoon to begin their mission. One thing about being a military wife is, sometimes, you're not told about where your husband might be at. He only gives me slight and safe ideas on his whereabouts, like the time. Other than that, I know nothing more. Of course, he would tell me but when it's already safe to do so. In between those times, I am left with no other knowledge about him, but the time and his condition.

I miss him so much - more than what I can even begin to tell. There is not a single minute that goes by that he doesn't occupy my mind, my heart and every time I close my eyes, I can see the look on his face on that night he dropped me off at the airport in Malaysia. It breaks my heart into pieces. I just can't get the look on his face out of my mind as he watch me walking away from him. Now, I wish I had more time at the airport to hold him. When he hugged me before I went inside, I never wanted to let go. Though it hurt us both just the same, we know things have to be this way for now. It won't be long, I know he'll be with me again. I would feel better right now if only I'd get to hear from him that they're okay. At least I will know they made it there safely.

"Mahal, I miss you!! Please, be safe out there. Watch your back. And like what you always tell me, never let your guard down. I will wait to hear from you later. I love you with all of my heart and may God be with you all."
